Women In Forensics Virtual Five Month Coaching Program

This is five month commitment for the Women in Forensics online coaching program. All workshops are virtual. Are you interested in forensics, but you don't know what to start doing first? Do you know where you can work in the forensics field with a STEM, Social Science, or Behavioral Science degree? Join the Women in Forensics Virtual Coaching Program to meet some of the world's most talented forensic science professionals, ask questions that you've always wanted to ask them and learn all sorts of great information. You will be able to talk to forensic experts with work experience in local, state, and federal forensic science labs You will meet a Crime Scene Investigator, Medicolegal Death Investigator, Forensic DNA Analyst, Forensic Chemist, Forensic Toxicologist and Forensic DNA Researcher, Licensed Mortician and Embalmer. Collectively, we have over 70 years of experience in forensic science!

This one of a kind live virtual program is open to teens, college students, and recent graduates interested in pursuing a forensic science career. Meet-ups will be held twice a month on zoom with forensic science professionals from around the world.

During the virtual five month program:

• You will be able to determine which career path is the best fit for your personality. There are many forensic science disciplines, but you may not be a good fit for all of them. Some of them are in the lab, out in the field or working with patients
• There is a live Q & A with forensic science experts twice a month
• You will learn where to search for jobs and internships, what keywords to use and how the job titles are not the same everywhere as well as a review of your resume/CV
• You will learn how to create or improve your LinkedIn profile and the current social media platforms you are currently using to network with forensic science professionals and students.

All the tools you will need to start on your journey to becoming a forensic science professional will be in this program.

• Past workshop recordings will be sent to you via email and can be accessed for a 48-hour period from the time of receipt.
• Virtual support group will begin the week of February 13th
